AB: Did you have the feeling in the ‘80s that this was yours?
TK: Ha, ours... We were young, we were working, there was no crisis… No, we didn’t think about it. We juststarted working, so…
AB: Many people came to work here from Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Serbia, right?
TK: They were coming from everywhere. Slavonia, Bosnia, mostly. Not many from Serbia and Montenegro, though.
AB: Not many?
TK: Yeah, rarely.
AB: So, these people often stayed here for good.
TK: Actually, yes. They went to school here, some came here on scholarships, some stayed, got married. A lot of them came from Dalmatia, Zadar, Varaždin. They came to work for the season, fell in love, stayed, that was it.
